About me

Over the last twenty years I have worked across four continents, discovering how global trade policy really works. I worked with businesses, governments, aid agencies, think tanks, as well as international development charities. I learned first-hand the technical and political aspects of negotiating trade deals, how to influence policy formulation, and how done deals are implemented – or not. My strategic planning and influencing expertise is valuable to building your business’s Covid-19 recovery strategy and beyond.

I have experience in multiple sectors including agriculture, food and drink, clothing and textiles, fisheries and fair-trade supply chains in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. This has positioned me to bring global expertise to the UK and offer relevant and practical trade policy advice and training, and strategic planning for Covid-19 recovery to businesses from my base in the Scottish Highlands.
